Don't fight in front of the kids!
We read the news topic of divorced parents with child at Ashland Times in Ohio on Jun, 2009.

"10 years old child's parents are divorced. Child mother remarried and has a stepfather.
Mother often calls child's father and fights with him because run to child for support. Child
doesn't want to give it to her and feel as if mother wants her to take sides, feel stuck in the
middle of this situation…."

We believe mother should never put child in the middle of her personal issues with father. However,
the same rule that should applies to all parents:
Don't fight in front of the kids! It is not fair for
children if asked to take sides of parents. They must try harder to work out their problems without
children involve because they need to have the positive relationship with both of parents.
Also, children can tell their parents exactly how they feel. It's hard for a child to ask a parent to
behave differently, but both should try. "Parents learn new things from kids every day!" We like sharing
this topic for all parents because it hit our home when we worked for the parents of past support and
custody cases. Parent should not put their divorce suffering to their children; this is the only way to
run out the hard time.
