Affidavit (Affidavit of Service) is a notarized written of court statement or document when you were
swearing the file papers with the court and that information contained is true. It is a paper that must be
filed with the court showing that the respondent (defendant) has been told about the case. A legally
written authorized required sign under the person who legally authorized to certify the statement, oath
before a signor (affiant), an officer of the court, a notary public or other person such as witness,
acknowledgment of the truthfulness; usually in support of a motion. It could be used against the
defendant in a court of law.
